Tweeted was originally created a WordPress plugin to easily pull in and cache tweets from twitter.com.
A huge thanks goes out to Dre Armeda and Shane Froebel for the design and development of the plugin.
In 2010, WordPress added the function of embedding tweets as part of oEmbed, which rendered the Tweeted plugin not necessary anymore.
Since then, we have not maintained nor continued any development of the plugin.
